Early, in the decade of the 90's God began to put on my heart that there would come a great move of the Holy Spirit to the country of Mexico. I felt that there were 2 specific things in the heart of God as this time was drawing near.
First, if there would be someone who would teach on how to move in the supernatural, in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and in the essence of prophetic ministry, we could experience this tremendous move of God. The essence of prophetic ministry, is what Jesus said in John 5:19...to be able to perceive what it is that the Father is doing on the earth, the nation, the region, or the local church, and unite yourself, launch out and develop that inciative of the Father.
I felt a second thing in the Father's heart about this conference, it is a burden for those who did not know how to use the power of God, the gifts and prophetic ministry. When God begins to move supernaturally, it never fails that: ignorance, carnality, or the devil himself seeks to deviate those involved from fulfilling God's purposes via supernatural manifestations.
So then, the goal of the "Prophets Arise" Conference has been to help perceive what the Father is doing in Mexico and in the World and to train others to be able to perceive it also.
I felt a great need to establish the revelation that would allow the river to flow inside of its purposes and not deviate from them. These have been the major focuses of what is happening in the "Prophets Arise" Conferences. We have perceived three distinct epochs or stages in the Father's iniciative in the life of the Conference.
Firstly, Doctrine and prophetic ministry. God's goal in the first stage was that we understand doctrine so that through faith, heaven would open up and the rain of the Holy Spirit would fall over us.Secondly to facilitate through these things, the restoration of apostolic and prophetic ministry. These things have occurred and we have experienced a strong outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our congregation with obvious supernatural manisfestations. Obviously, these phenomenons have not only happened to us, but also, the church throughout the world has experienced the same thing.
The third epoch that we perceive, as it says in Leviticus 26:3, and 4...if there is obedience (imputed righteousness), there will be rain, and if there is rain, the earth will bear its fruit. As it is in the natural, when the rain falls, everything grows. Through this great rain of the Holy Spirit, we have seen in our church great manifestations of signs, wonders, and the excercising of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We have seen families restored and healed, grave illnesses disappear, people recieving raises in their jobs, and some being named to positions of influence. Apart from the economic, we have seen in others, supernatural manisfestations in their lives. No one who has believed has been left out.
In conclusion, the 3rd epoch is that the Kingdom of God is being made manifest! We always want to help leaders to perceive and participate in the truth of what God is doing in the nation, in the Americas and in the world.
That is what we feel called to do, to serve the purposes of God!
